Or is it the face hidden from reality and the light of day?

Imagine with me

Close your eyes for a moment, in time, to imagine 50,000 children starving right before your very own eyes.
Can you hear their cries? 
Can you see their faces?
Wanting just to stay alive. . .

 Or can you look away
trying to believe it will be O.K. ?

 Imagine 50,000 children
from across the sea 
Surrounding us as far as the eye can see. 
Crying out for help,
looking back at you and me.
 Will we hear their cries from the other side?  Or try not to believe,
 no matter what we see.  

 Close your eyes for a moment,
 in time, to imagine  50,000 children’s  hope filled eyes looking up at you and me.

 Maybe a last breath
before many pass into eternity.

 If we turn away and they die the next day?

 Imagine 50,000 children
reaching out for Life Today.
 Can you see their hands
 stretching out towards you and me?
 Will we put our arms around all 50,000 of these  or will we walk away
 to live another day.

 If we do nothing and they pass away?

 If one of these 50,000 children
where you or me.
 What would we do?

 If people like you and me
turned and walked away
 and we were going
to die the very next day.

One drop of blood for eternity. . .

He laid down His life for you and me.

Living a life full of love and compassion,

while completing His mission ...
To die for you and me
for sins remissions

 Stretching out His arms

gazing intently at you and me

through the loving eye’s of eternity.

He did not think twice
when they NAILED His hands
 at Calvary.

wrapping His LIFE

around man’s fallen ways

carrying death AND sin’s penalty away.

His end was our beginning.

To many times we have taken
His Love for granted.

Not thinking about His suffering
for our life passage into eternity.

Do we even realize what He went through
for you and me on that day.

Instead we play in the world’s ways,
forgetting love’s unselfish way,

which He showed to you and me
 on that indescribable day.

Receive His Love and
remember to give it away
to other still lost in the world's ways.
