He laid down His life for you and me.

Living a life full of love and compassion,

while completing His mission…

To die for you and me for sins remission

Stretching out His arms

gazing intently at you and me

through the loving eye's of eternity.

He did not think twice

when they NAILED His hands at Calvary.

wrapping His LIFE

around man's fallen ways

carrying death AND sin's penalty away.

His end was our beginning.

To many times we have taken His Love for granted.

Not thinking about His suffering

for our life passage into eternity.

Do we even realize what He went through

for you and me on that day.

Instead we play in the world's ways,

forgetting love's unselfish way,

which He showed to you and me

on that indescribable day.

Receive His Love and

remember to give it away

to other still lost in the world's ways.
